May 17, 2008   8:30 AM  Tom Sharp will lead us along River Road in Kent CT  Come join former NVAS member and Vice President Tom Sharp to bird this amazing spring birding spot. We will likely see migrating warblers as well as Cerulean Warblers which nest along this road.  We may also see various vireos, orioles, flycatchers and many other spring migrants.

Meet at the start of River Road, at Skiff mountain Rd. at 8 AM.  Carpooling is recommended due to limited parking at this popular birding spot.  Contact Lou at 203-723-0048 before Friday night if you want to carpool.

Our field trip coordinator, Lou Wilmot, is always looking for new ideas for field trips, so if you have one, let him know!
